Guest Blog from Fwd.us:

The federal government is soon expected to announce an administrative Startup Visa program that opens up new pathways for foreign students and aspiring founders to stay in the US and start companies here. In order to be successful, FWD.us is working to make sure people know about the program and celebrate the opportunities it creates.

We are looking for companies founded by or employing immigrants to share their stories on our website and on our social media channels. We want to highlight the incredible contributions immigrants make to the tech community, and how we can improve our immigration system to encourage innovation and entrepreneurship.

If you have experience with the American immigration system, and want to be involved in making it better, you can e-mail Amir Salehzadeh (amir@fwd.us) or Katie Aragón (katiea@fwd.us).

FWD.us is a political advocacy organization started by Mark Zuckerberg and other leaders in the tech community working to keep the American Dream achievable in the 21st Century, beginning with comprehensive immigration reform.
